Lakeland High School Welcome's Mr. Connor Auch - New Near Peer

Hello! My name is Connor Auch and I will begin serving as the Near Peer Mentor for Lakeland High School! I recently graduated from Augustana University in my hometown of Sioux Falls, South Dakota where I received bachelor degrees in both Government/International Affairs & French. A fun fact about myself is that I have traveled to the French Alps as well as aided a French chef in preparing a meal. Why did I pick a position so far from home? The reason I applied for this position is because the Panhandle of Idaho offers scenic beauty as well as a warm community that is vibrantly open and as active as I am. My role is to be a problem-solver for all the students and parents in the district particularly when it comes to questions regarding the various pathways one can take after high school as well as aiding students in positioning themselves for the future.  I'm looking forward to meeting everyone!
